Huh, I have thought I could tell which cat was purring in my ear to wake me up, but I didn't realize that their purrs are individual enough that I might really have been able to do that. I enjoyed my 60 seconds of relaxation, along with interesting purr facts (some of which were new to me) - thank you, Best Friends! <3

I admire Best Friends so much. They are truly saviors in so many ways. We should ALL be taught in our schools to be kind to our animals....YES, I mean a course in school for animal advocates. So many people here from other countries do not care for animals and its not their custom to treat them kindly. This should be a mandatory class. Also, animal abuse or cruelty should be automatic jail time of one year or more.

Anyone running a puppy mill or working at a puppy mill, and pet stores who buy from these puppy mills, need to be charged with animal cruelty. Pets do not deserve to be treated like this. This is just absolutely horrible.

I don’t know if I believe all this. I bought a puppy from a USDA breeder and the pup has good temperament and is even mostly potty trained. There’s no way someone wasn’t spending time socializing this puppy.

I also heard that cats see their owner as fellow cats so you got a cute fluffy ball that sees you as a big silly cat so that's pretty cool ig

I fricking need a cat. I dont even care if I don’t have one at this point, I just need to see a cat. I need to pet one and cuddle with it. I don’t even care if it’s on the streets with diseases and fleas, I’d still pet it. I love cats so much and I want one so bad but my mom’s allergic and my family doesn’t like cats but cats are literally my therapy. I don’t care what cat it is, I just need to see one.

I understand how you feel taking home someone else's dog. Our dog belonged to my in-laws and after they both passed away, my husband and I brought her home with us. She knew us a little because we visited her in our in-laws home. She was still young. The way we won her over was by taking her for walks. She had never had one before and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. We lost her 3 years ago and every time I see someone walking a dog, I think of her.
